Rallye to Leadership Forum

The purpose of the Leadership Forum is two-fold: first, we believe that there will be value from club leaders meeting one another and developing ongoing supportive relationships. We all share a passion for our automobile and activities surrounding this hobby. It only makes sense that this common thread will be useful in developing our clubs, groups and establishing long term friendships.
This year’s topics are:

You and Your Car on the Track – Future Risks that could keep us and our cars home

This will be a roundtable discussion among a group of professionals and enthusiasts that work on the inside of driver events.  Driving our cars on a race track is something that many of us enjoy and is certainly something that we don’t want to see end.  Attending this forum will help you to run your club’s driver events to ensure you are doing all that you can to keep this part of the passion about our cars a possibility.

Our panelists are:

Kevin Beard – Founder & CEO, Piloti Driving Shoes
Ann Bixler – Vice President Event Operations, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
Jeremy Cable – Manager, Reno-Fernley Raceway Road Course
Doug Gale – Founder, TrackMasters Racing
Warren Gardner – Porsche Club America, Diablo Driving Events

‘But nobody told me it would be like this!’ – what happens to the club member when they become a club officer

If you have been, or currently are a club officer, you can certainly relate to the title of this forum.  If you are considering ‘throwing your hat into the ring’ to become an officer we want you too!   Our panel is made up of car club officers, both old and new, so they will be speaking from experience.  There should be some good stories from this group!  Attending this forum will help you know what to expect as an officer, may give you ideas for how to plan the transition from old officers to new, etc.

Our panelists are:

Stan Ambrozi – Vintage Mustang Club
Paul Ayers – Golden Gate Chapter Audi Club North America
Ted French – Diablo Region - Porsche Club America
David Jones – Northern California Kit Car Club
Steve Souza – Ferrari Club

Friday, May 5th 4:00 – 5:30 PM  Skip Barber Racing School Classroom, Paddock Area, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Barry Trailer of CSO Insights will be our moderator for both sessions.  With many years in sales training, Barry will insure that he gets from this group what you came to hear/learn.
